Willmo’s debut solo 9-piece album "Adjustments On The Dance Floor" is out December 15th via /dev/null Records. It features “Marvin (You Can Dance)”, “Berlin (BRLiN)”, “Fifth”, “Want”, “Fjaka, “Kodowari”, “Coda”, “Mistakes” and “Mariah (Memory)”.

Electronic music artist Willmo never holds back when attempting to push electronic music forward with his subtle blend of downtempo, organic beat, and low sub-bass meshes that accompany his orchestral sounds and hand-crafted atmospheric pads.

Hailing from the UK, Willmo started his musical life as classic pianist and jazz clarinetist, but spent the other half attempting to forge new sounds by locking himself in his bedroom to make beats inspired by the likes of Burial, Ricardo Villalobos and Four Tet on his laptop and AKAI MPC.

At the emergence of multiple crises in the UK, Willmo worked as a runner for BBC DJ Gilles Peterson and soldered wires for Floating Points. Seeing no opportunities, Willmo pursued other things, and become a software engineer for 3D audio VST software. Years later, after relocating to Berlin, Willmo returned to music to forge sounds that electrify and grab inspiration from not only music, but film and art too. In 2023, Willmo released his debut album, “Adjustments On The Dance Floor” on his own label, /dev/null Records.
